Stress starts with identifying the sources of stress in your life. This is not as easy as it sounds. Your true sources of stress are not always obvious, and it’s all too easy to overlook your own stress-inducing thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Stress is the term used to describe the human body's failure to respond appropriately to emotional or physical threats. As a result, the body experiences a state of alarm, which leads to an increase in adrenaline production.

Some symptoms of stress includes the following:

-Exhaustion
-Irritability
-Muscle tension
-Inability to concentrate
-Headaches
-Increased heart rate / beat
It may seem that there is nothing you can do about stress. The bills will not stop coming to you, there will never be more hours in the day, and your career and family responsibilities will always be demanding. But you have more control than you might think. The simple realization that you’re in control of your life is the foundation of stress management.

Causes of Stress

Stress is often caused by these following issues:
-Lack of sleep.
-Exams or project deadlines.
-Financial issues such as poverty, unemployment, debt.
-Family issues such as births, deaths, marriage, divorce.

Lot of diseases are also associated with or caused by stress, such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma, or psoriasis. For this reason, it is extremely important to be able to reduce the stress in our lives.

When we are tense or anxious, blood flow to our extremities is reduced. A cold bath can help to restore blood circulation, which helps to defeat the stress on your body response and convince the body that it is safe. The body will begin to relax and reduce stress.
